The Catalog of Distribution and Automation Systems was updated in 2021, and once again receives new references that provide a comprehensive response to the installer segment in terms of Cabinets, Distribution Boxes and Thermal Management.
Among the solutions in the family of cabinets and boxes for industrial automation, the CPD series of modular distribution cabinets stands out. It is a flexible, modular solution for surface or pavement mounting, with a capacity of up to 630A and an IP54 protection degree.
Made of steel, it has an opaque or glass door and a capacity from 30 to 264 modules. It is also worth highlighting the careful and robust design of these cabinets, designed by RETELEC for industrial environments and/or the tertiary sector, which include a key lock.
In the range of plastic distribution boxes, it is worth highlighting the Kappa series for flush mounting, whose main characteristic is its reduced depth. To respond to different installation needs, the Madrid manufacturer offers the possibility of white or transparent doors and capacities from 8 to 72 modules. With IP40 protection grade, the Kappa range of plastic boxes are used in residential, local and tertiary areas.
Innovations for built-in or surface-mount cabinets
RETELEC System also incorporates new features in mechanical distribution with the Gardena ECO series. Made of galvanized steel, for recessed or surface mounting, this new series offers the lock with key. It has a capacity of 24 to 180 modules, is durable and robust and is suitable for industrial and tertiary environments. It has an IP41 protection degree and incorporates a modular chassis.
In the industrial automation section of the 2022 catalogue, RETELEC presents the CP3 series of waterproof plastic modular boxes – IP65, which has been specially designed for outdoor placement.
