As a result of joint work developed by the product managers and engineers of RETELEC in collaboration with the architecture, engineering and construction software company CYPE, a strategic solution has been reached that offers unique support to panel builders, installers, distributors, engineering companies, digitizing the design process, and how to bid, in the technical installations sector.
Open BIM RETELEC empowers professionals to easily configure electrical panels, selecting the devices that each one of them will include. This selection can be made by accessing the RETELEC catalog or by directly importing a .csv file. Once the devices are included in the electrical panel, you can proceed to its design, selecting the type of enclosure: size, rails and supports; and its configuration manually or automatically..
To make it easier for the professional to design their offers, the program has a 3D work environment, which allows reading and representing in the model all the imported files contained in the project to which it is associated (architecture, structure, facilities...). In this way, the already defined paintings are integrated into the project, placing them in space along with the rest of the disciplines.
